Alastair Redfern
Alastair Llewellyn John Redfern (born 1 September 1948) is the current Bishop of Derby in the Church of England.〔(Official announcement )〕
Redfern was educated at Christ Church, Oxford.〔Who's Who 2008: London, A & C Black ISBN 978-0-7136-8555-8〕 He was ordained in 1976 and was a curate in Wolverhampton.〔Crockford's Clerical Directory 2008/2009 Lambeth, Church House Publishing ISBN 978-0-7151-1030-0〕 He then became a lecturer and later vice principal of Ripon College Cuddesdon.〔Debrett's People of Today London, 2008 Debrett's, ISBN 978-1-870520-95-9〕 From 1987 to 1997 he was the Canon Theologian of Bristol Cathedral before his ordination to the episcopate as suffragan Bishop of Grantham.
